In a Yin Yoga class you can expect to slow down and tune in. With a reduced number of mostly seated or reclined poses held for sometimes up to 5 minutes, we’re taking time for the deep layers of muscle and connective tissue to lengthen and soften. Yin Yoga aims to calm the nervous system and increase mobility, using attention to breath to cultivate and attune our awareness.
